Step 1: Unplug internet cable in WAN port
On your wifi router, unplug the cable currently in WAN port
This cable delivers internet into your wifi router and typically comes from the wall or ISP modem
Step 2: Connect internet cable
Unplug the WAN cable and plug DIRECTLY into port
On the wiring diagram, look for the arrow that says
"CONNECT TO INTERNET (via ISP modem)"
Step 3: Connect USB Adapter to Wifi Router
Connect the USB adapter and red cable to your wifi router
Connect the USB adapter to any available ports (if blue ports are available - use those!). Then, connect to WAN port on wifi router
All Done! Connect to personal network
Everything should just work!
ISP should connect DIRECTLY to Chinanetspeed; USB adapter sends signal OUT to wifi router

Please disable any 3rd party network applications for optimum performance (e.g Astrill, Express, etc). You can also test your speeds using any speedtest vendor - we’ve written a guide here: www.chinanetspeed.com/blog/speedtest-in-china

Our service includes a “self-healing” feature that automatically detects and updates your routing. There may be short disruptions - this is normal. Please contact us if you still cannot access the Internet after 5 minutes.

I DON'T HAVE A WIFI ROUTER
We strongly recommend a personal wifi router (different from ISP modem), since you'll be able to access our full speeds - up to 200Mbps. Otherwise, our built-in wifi is limited to 30Mbps.
INSTALLATION NOT WORKING
MY SPEEDS ARE SLOW
We are pretty confident on our measured speedtests! However, your routing may need to be optimized if you have a China Mobile or China Unicom line. Please contact our staff for assistance.
